Inviting a User to your Colony
This capability is available for account-level Colony admins. For details, see Roles.
To add a new user to CloudShell Colony:
- Open the Administration page.
- Click the Users tab.
- At the top-right of the screen, click Invite Users.
- Enter the email address of the member you wish to invite. You can add multiple users to your space by adding a comma separated list of email addresses.
- Click Send Invitation.
The invitation is sent.
Associating a User to your Space
As space admin, you can add users, which were already added to Colony, to one or more spaces.
To add a user to a space:
- Open the Administration area.
- Click the Users tab.
- In the users's row, click the more actions (
) button and select Edit.
- Click the space's toggle (to the right).
For example: - Click Done.
The user's Space column is updated accordingly.
Setting a User's Space Role
As space admin, you can determine the user's role in the space. Note that the same user can have different roles in different spaces.
To set a user's space role:
- Open the Settings page.
- Click the Users tab.
- In the users's row, select the suitable Role.
The user's role is updated accordingly.
Deleting a User from Colony
This capability is available for account-level Colony admins. For details, see Roles.
To delete a user from your space:
- Open the Administration area.
- Click the Users tab.
- In the relevant users's row, click the Actions menu, select Delete and confirm the deletion action.
The user is permanently deleted.
