In some cases, it is possible to lose connection to your AWS cloud account. This is likely caused by someone inadvertently making changes to the AWS stack that Colony uses for authentication. Reauthenticating the cloud account allows Colony to re-establish the connection to the account's management layer on AWS.
To reauthenticate your AWS cloud account:
- Do one of the following:
In CloudShell Colony, access the Administration area.
- Open the Cloud Accounts page.
- On the cloud account's row, click Reauthenticate.
The Authenticate Cloud Account window is displayed.
- Paste your Role ARN in the field at the bottom.
- Click Authenticate.
The account is removed from CloudShell Colony.
